About Briefed
A note from the founder
The problem
I've been the person with eleven tabs open at 6 AM. The Times on one, the FT on another, Slack on a third, my calendar on a fourth, two newsletters I subscribed to six months ago and never read but feel guilty about deleting. My coffee goes cold. My actual day hasn't started yet.
Why I built Briefed
I spent a lot of time thinking about why this was broken, and the answer I kept coming back to was simple: I didn't need a better tool. I needed a better editor. Someone with taste, someone who'd already read everything, someone who could hand me one page and say, "this is what matters today."
So I built that. Not another dashboard. Not another AI summary button bolted onto an app I already have too many of. An actual editor, with a voice and a point of view, who reads everything so you don't have to, and writes it up the way a person would write it, not the way a model would.
Who Briefed is for
It's for people who've had enough of the noise, and who remember what it was like to read a newspaper and then go about their day without needing to check anything again.
If that's you, I made this for you. I hope it gives you a calmer start.
